Bobby Springsteen has been in the music industry since he was 12 years old when he was signed to Chrysalis Records as a recording artist. Although his recording career was stifled, Bobby continued his musical journey as a songwriter and DJ. Years later, he became an intern for Andre Harrell, then-president of Uptown Records. With his mentor, Bobby moved to Motown Records where he because an A&R Director. While at Motown, Bobby creatively contributed to the sales of more than 5 million records by various artists including the boy band sensation 98 Degrees whose debut album and single was certified-gold.

Bobby was also Senior Director of A&R at Bad Boy Entertainment. Under the mentorship of Sean Combs, he creatively contributed to several multi-platinum and platinum albums including the late B.I.G.'s 'Born Again', Carl Thomas' 'Emotional', Faith Evan's 'Faithfully', and Black Rob's 'Life-story'. Bobby co-wrote Faith Evan's "I Love You" which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's R&B Single Chart and No. 14 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Chart. He was also A&R on Shyne's self-titled, platinum debut album as well as his certified-gold sophomore album 'Godfather Buried Alive.'

Additionally, Bobby served as Vice President of A&R for Edmonds Record Group and NuAmerica/Interscope, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds' joint venture, where he contributed to Robin Thicke's debut LP. Bobby was instrumental in the music supervision for the film "Honey" and creatively contributed to the soundtrack for the movie.

An entrepreneur at heart, Bobby co-launched Power 5, a global management and marketing/branding company comprised of a collective of influential DJ's, who created content and engaged diverse audiences across medium - affecting hundreds of millions annually. Bobby then became an independent A&R and publishing consultant where he was instrumental in the development of Nottinghill Publishing and Royalty Network's urban catalogue. Currently, Bobby has launched Dreamwire Entertainment, a management/branding company consisting of artists, producers, and songwriters.
